General provisions

Excalibur Credit Solutions Inc. (hereinafter Excalibur Credit Solutions) respects users' privacy and takes reasonable measures to protect personal information. This Policy describes what data we may collect, how we use it and how we protect it. By using the site and services, you agree to this Policy.

What data we may collect

• name and contact details (phone, email, language, purpose of the request) provided voluntarily by the user through the request form, messengers or by phone;
• credit profile information provided by the user for analysis and consultations: bureau and monitoring service reports, dispute documents (creditor letters, payment confirmations, ID, proof of address);
• data needed for the contract and letters to the bureaus: full name, date of birth, address, SSN or its last digits, payment details for paying for services rendered;
• technical data about site visits. The site stores in the browser only the selected language and a draft of the credit boost request; there are no third-party analytics systems or advertising trackers on the site.

We do not collect personal data without the user's consent.

Use of information

The information collected is used solely for the following purposes:

• credit profile analysis and a free report review;
• providing consulting services, preparing the contract, handling disputes with the bureaus and data sources, preparing the profile for financing, adding credit lines;
• communication with the user: work status and bureau responses;
• compliance with the law: Credit Repair Organizations Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, California state laws;
• improving service quality.

We do not sell or transfer personal data to third parties, except as provided by applicable law and this Policy.

Who data is shared with

• Bureaus and data sources (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion, ChexSystems, LexisNexis, Innovis, Experian RentBureau, creditors and collectors) — only to the extent needed for the dispute you asked us to handle.
• Partner monitoring services (SmartCredit, IdentityIQ, MyScoreIQ) — you provide your data yourself when registering on their websites; its processing is governed by those services' policies. We access reports only with your permission.
• Credit line providers for a credit boost — the name, date of birth, address and SSN needed to add you as an authorized user.
• Government authorities — only in cases expressly provided for by the laws of the United States of America.

SMS communications

Excalibur Credit Solutions may send SMS messages to clients who have provided their phone number and consented to receive text messages. Message types include appointment reminders, case status updates and general customer support.

SMS consent and phone numbers are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

SMS terms of use

By opting in to SMS via a web form or another channel, you agree to receive SMS messages from Excalibur Credit Solutions. Information security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, loss or disclosure: reports and documents are kept in secure storage accessible only to the manager handling your case, and documents are transferred via a secure link. The user understands that no method of transmitting data over the internet can guarantee absolute security, and we ask you not to send your full SSN in open messages.

Retention periods

Data from a request that did not result in a contract is kept for no longer than 12 months. Client data is kept for the duration of the contract and for 5 more years after it ends, as the law requires for dispute records. At your request we delete everything we are not legally required to keep.

Cookies

The site may use cookies and browser local storage to work correctly (language choice, request draft). The user may disable cookies in their browser settings.

User rights

• find out what data we hold about you and get a copy;
• correct inaccurate data;
• delete data, except what we are required to keep by law;
• withdraw consent to communication: reply STOP to any message or write to our email;
• California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know and the right to deletion. We do not sell personal data and do not discriminate for exercising these rights.

Services are intended for persons over 18; we do not knowingly collect children's data.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

California residents may, under the California Consumer Privacy Act, submit a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" request, as well as requests to access, correct and delete data. Since we do not sell data, such a request will not change anything in processing, but we will confirm it in writing within 15 business days. Write to info@excalibur-credit.com with the subject "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" or tell your manager by phone. To verify your identity we will ask only for the name and contact you provided when reaching out.
